Guided city tours in Uzbekistan
Plan your city tours in Uzbekistan:
Tashkent: Due to the size of Uzbekistan's capital, you will have a vehicle with a driver for sightseeing in addition to a city guide. This will ensure that you make the most of your day. The sights of Tashkent are spread all over the city, which makes sightseeing by private vehicle much more pleasant than relying on public transportation or cabs.
Samarkand: The city is considered "the Rome of the Orient" for many visitors. Samarkand is big and the architectural monuments are situated at some distance from each other. To make the most of the day, you will have a vehicle with a driver in addition to your city guide. If you have a little more time available, we will be happy to arrange a two-day city tour of Samarkand for you.
Bukhara: “The Pearl of the East“ is how Bukhara was described by travelers in their travel stories and notes. The former capital of the Bukhara emirate has played an essential role in the history of Central Asia for centuries. Bukhara’s old town is well-preserved and compact. The most important sights can be explored on a walk through the mostly car-free old town. So you are not dependent on a vehicle for your visit and can enjoy the feeling of the Orient better. If you would like to visit the sights outside the old town, we recommend that you book a vehicle for the second day of your stay. We will be happy to arrange an appropriate itinerary for you.
Khiva: The former capital of the Khiva Khanate is famous for its well-preserved city wall, which encloses the old town (Ichan Kala). In a relatively small area, you will find all the relevant sights, which is why you do not need a vehicle for your city tour. Take a walk through the winding streets of the historic old town, where there is something to discover at every corner. Don't miss climbing the tower Ak Sheikh Bobo in the ancient citadel Konya Ark: you will be rewarded with a beautiful view over the whole city.
