I was born and grew up in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. After studying economics and tourism at universities in Uzbekistan and Spain, I have been working in the tourism sector in Central Asia since 2006: as a tour guide, trip leader and travel operator. Since I have moved to my husband´s hometown Basel, Switzerland, I found out how little knowledge people have about Uzbekistan and its neighbouring countries. I understood, my mission is to promote tourism in Central Asia.
